The bridal bouquet consisted of magenta anemone, green roses, magenta stock, magenta callas, and green cymbidium orchids. There were sparkly accents of magenta, deep teal and purple. All in all, the bouquets looked like jewels. It was a beautiful effect against the white of the bride’s dress. Those same colors worked wonderfully against the deep purple of the bridesmaid dresses also.
The bridesmaid bouquets were a confection of green hydrangea, pale pink spray roses, pink and green callas, with touches of white waxflower and seeded eucalyptus. The stems were wrapped in ivory satin ribbon for a casual, end of summer feel.
The flower girl carried a pomander to match the wedding party.
Pomanders are a wonderful idea for brides who feel that their young attendants may be a little overwhelmed at the thought of walking down the aisle, and throwing petals, and smiling! All at the same time!
With a pomander, they look terribly cute for the pictures and they have less trouble walking down the aisle.
